The activities involve working with three types of clay (white clay, red clay, and refractory clay), shaped using various techniques: slab building, coil building, coil and slab construction, pinch pots, and nerikomi.

The decorative or everyday items created by the residents are consistently subjected to firing.

Many of them undergo an additional pictorial and/or protective treatment and are fired again in the kiln.

The creative workshops are led by artist Cristina Mandelli, with the goal of producing items using different techniques, from screen printing to painting, drawing, silk painting, and ceramics. The activities include three fundamental phases: the first is a design stage where participants collectively decide on the theme of the collection and the models and graphics to be created; the second involves experimenting with both materials and printing techniques to be used; and the third, the final stage, involves creating the finished pieces.
