Apartment Groups act as a transitional step towards the outside world. They are designed as the final phase of the journey that begins in the Community and, over time, they have
also evolved to serve as a specific and alternative treatment option to residential care when the latter is not the most suitable solution.
Apartment Groups are structured according to the different needs of individual patients. Each apartment is covered by staff for at least 60 daytime hours per week, 7 days a week, with night-time on-call availability.
